A bit about me
Several years ago, I left the rat race and traded the hustle and bustle for a simpler life in Central America. Nestled atop a jungle-covered mountain with breathtaking views of a shimmering lake, I settled into my retirement—but quickly discovered a desire to spend my time in a meaningful way.
That's when writing entered the picture. I had never written anything of consequence, but once I started, I was hooked. What began as a way to pass the time turned into a passion, culminating in the creation of my first book.
These days, I spend my time weaving fantasies in the peaceful solitude of a secluded house outside a small town, under the watchful gaze of an active volcano. When I'm not writing, you'll find me playing the guitar, spending time with friends, or catering to the whims of two demanding cats.
ARC copies are out
For those of you who are doing the pre-release reading of Signifying Nothing, I have shipped the first copies. I want to thank you in advance for your willingness to provide honest feedback. I will now commence biting my fingernails in hope that you actually LIKE it - hahaha.
This has been an adventure. When I started, I would never have guessed that the book would be this difficult to write. It kept wanting to wander off into territories that did not fit the theme of the book. But, with the help (abuse) of my team of editors at Imbue Editing, it has finally come to fruition. Many thanks to the fine people there.
I would love to nail down the publication date for you, but the truths is that there are still a few things left to do. The biggie is to finish my search for an agent. I'm hoping I can get a traditional publishing contract, as that will enable me to distribute my books to a much wider audience. It will also get me help with marketing--my Achilles heel. It seems that I am unable to sell water to people dying of thirst in the desert. Not my thing.
But keep your chins up. A Tale Told by an Idiot is on its way. Here's hoping it is everything you ever wanted.
